Partnership to End Addiction is a national nonprofit uniquely positioned to reach, engage and help families impacted by addiction. Partnership to End Addiction’s website is our signature product and serves as the primary vehicle for our communication with the public, including for fundraising, advocacy, and engagement with educational resources. The website is also the key portal for delivering our services to families, providers, policy makers and other stakeholders. The Director, Website/ Web Product Manager will be responsible for managing the development, maintenance and success of Partnership’s website(s).

Responsibilities of the job include:   

  • Manage website performance, stakeholder interests, product roadmap, etc.
  • Manage the 10+ microsites that we own and operate
  • Manage relationships with third party vendors, to whom we contract work for new website capabilities development and support of the website, including WordPress software and plug-in updates, repairing problems and creating site and landing pages
  • Coordinate with others on projects and day-to-day workflow related to the website
  • Increase Partnership's rank on search engines by using Google Analytics and Webmaster tools to monitor irregularities, issues, trends and opportunities 
  • Work alongside the CTO and CIO to ensure business resilience for the sites, through good management of external contracts and internal resources  
  • Work closely with marketing, communications and program staff to coordinate the content authoring/editing process  
  • Ensure website complies with relevant legal requirements, such as DPA (and GDPR), web accessibility and credit card regulations 

Qualifications:   

  • 8 years of education / work experience, with 4+ years of experience managing a medium-sized organization’s website 
  • Experience administering and maintaining websites using WordPress CMS 
  • Experience with Google Analytics and other data analytic systems  
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript, CMS, SEO, site security and other technologies for the purpose of managing website development
