AmeriCorps Service as a Youth Success Mentor, through St Nicks Alliance, is an opportunity to work directly with youth and young adults during some of the most transformative moments in their lives. St. Nicks Alliance, a not-for-profit organization, established in 1994, runs many programs that impact the lives of North Brooklyn residents through education, employment, housing, and healthcare. Through a wide-range of programs, youth are empowered to successfully advance through the stages of education and into young adulthood with the core competencies to thrive, both emotionally and financially. In partnership with schools and communities, St. Nicks Alliance’s holistic approach to transformation combines youth development, academic enrichment, workforce readiness, health and wellness, arts learning, and post-secondary readiness.
