Salary range starts at $43,000 and is commensurate with experience.

The Center for Court Innovation is a non-profit organization that works to create a more effective and humane justice system by performing original research and helping launch reforms by guiding justice innovators, nationally and internationally. The Center creates operating projects that have been documented to reduce the use of jail and prison, assist victims of crime, and strengthen communities.

The Queens Youth Justice Center (QYJC) operates an array of programming for local youth, with a particular focus on engaging those with justice involvement. Current initiatives include a teen-led youth court, an alternative-to-detention program, intensive case management for youth with mental health needs, and transformative mentoring services for justice-involved youth. By offering positive pro-social programming for young people, QYJC aims to stop the cycle of delinquency and crime for adolescents and reduce reliance on detention. The comprehensive programming offers all participating young people leadership development and service opportunities designed to promote positive engagement in their communities.

The Queens Youth Justice Center has developed a trauma-informed, survivor-centered program called the CSEC for young people who are at risk of or are victims and survivors of commercial sexual exploitation. Youth are engaged through assessment, screening, educational information, case management services and evidence-based programs. A subsection of young people will be matched with a mentor based on needs and interests.

The Queens Youth Justice Center is seeking a Case Manager to join our CSEC team. Reporting to the Social Worker, the Case Manager is responsible for the case management of youth involved with the CSEC program and the implementation of programs that support social and emotional learning for all participants. The Case Manager will be responsible for tracking school attendance, curfew compliance and court attendance for all youth enrolled in the program. The Case Manager will provide supervision and oversight to youth involved in various programming during after-school hours and will work with stakeholders and staff to ensure effective delivery of services to participants and their families.
