Freelance Promotion Manager

CRAFT IN AMERICA artist series on PBS is seeking an experienced Freelance Promotion Manager to liaise with news organizations, magazines, bloggers, and other press for reviews, coverage and mentions, as well as prepare press materials, create and manage e-blasts, plan advertising, etc. Flexible hours and work location.  

The qualified candidate will be self-motivated with at least one year's experience in arts promotion/PR and familiarity with PR contacts database software. Salary based on experience. 

Craft in America is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the exploration, preservation, and celebration of the handmade and its impact on our nation’s cultural heritage. The project began with a Peabody Award-winning documentary series with over 27 episodes featuring new and renowned artists and reaching millions of viewers nationwide since 2007. that takes viewers on cultural journeys across this nation, honoring craft artists and documenting the dynamic evolution of contemporary craft.
