Art in Tanzania works with corporations and governmental institutions to tackle natural and artificial environmental disasters.
Details
Disaster management needs to be better known, and the public needs to be educated about sister management issues. People and their properties are affected by floods, earthquakes, landslides, diseases like malaria and cholera, hunger, poverty, deserts, global warming due to climate change, and industrial incidents caused by poor health and safety in the workplace.
This program aims to educate and build Tanzanian people about resilience from the early stage to the last set of disaster management, such as mitigation, preparedness, response, and prevention at schools and public shares, with the help of various governmental and non-governmental institutions.
We work with entities such as Twiga Cement Industries, Coca-cola, the Tanzania government, NBC Bank, PVC, and AG-Energies Company Ltd. We are extending our program to work with the United Nations Organization.
