Honolulu Habitat for Humanity ReStore

Honolulu Habitat for Humanity is a local nonprofit housing organization which envisions a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Honolulu Habitat works towards this vision by building strength, stability, and self-reliance in partnership with local families in need of decent, affordable housing. Habitat homeowners build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage which helps fund the next Habitat home. With our help, Habitat homeowners achieve the independence they need to build a better life for themselves and their families.

Honolulu ReStore is a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center that sells new and gently used furniture, appliances, building materials and home accessories to the public at a fraction of the retail price. Proceeds from sales are used to build homes, communities, and hope locally.

By accepting donations, Honolulu ReStore is also able to divert hundreds of tons of reusable materials from local landfills. ReStore’s secondary focus on environmental sustainability is an added benefit to the public and the planet.

With help from local donors, shoppers, and volunteers, Honolulu ReStore supports Habitat’s vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
