For more than 60 years, Providence Center, Inc. has been dedicated to the well-being of individuals with developmental disabilities. From its origins in 1961 in a donated farmhouse, Providence has grown into a leading non-profit supporting more than 400 adults in day programs throughout Anne Arundel County. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive mix of programs that can be tailored to individual needs and goals through a person-centered planning process. We are committed to supporting people within their community and helping them advocate for the lives they want.

Throughout its history, the Center has remained committed to its original belief that community integration is the key to ensuring happy and productive lives for adults with developmental disabilities. Services are focused on the individual, offering one-on-one assistance for many of our consumers, helping each person to achieve his goals.
