Sacramento ESL Program

Sacramento ESL Program (SESL), in collaboration with the community of the Greater Sacramento area, shall provide adult speakers of other languages the resources, technology, opportunities, and tools in an encouraging, positive learning environment where they will have the opportunity to:

• Acquire necessary basic skills in reading, speaking, and writing English

• Be empowered to participate more fully in the daily tasks of family, school, workplace, continuing education, lifelong learning, and community

• Provide computer classes to learn and improve skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, and email as basic skills and add other competencies that will help them hone specific skills; teach them how to use the computer to help them become job ready and employable.

• Place a distance learning program at the disposal of our students.
