CURE (Citizens United for the Rehabilitation of Errants) is a non-profit, prisoner advocacy organization that focuses on educating Washington State Citizens and Government leaders regarding the increasing need for higher standards of rehabilitation need in WA State. Our goal is to focus on education, responsibility, equality, and self esteem programs for inmates and their families, by providing them with support resources and training. We seek to educate our citizens and leaders about the increasing need for responsible prison management, humane treatment of those incarcerated, fairness in the parole process, and training in job and life skills for WA State's incarcerated citizens. Together we feel that every citizen deserves to be safe and we seek to accomplish rehabilitative and restorative programs in WA prisons, as well as effective, less expensive alternatives to incarceration.
