Community leaders founded Family Stress Center in 1978. Our mission is to strengthen families and to treat and prevent child abuse and neglect in Contra Costa County by providing counseling, educational and support services focusing on the essential needs of children and their families. Our services are provided from our buildings in Concord and Antioch, and from on-site locations in Bay Point, Martinez, and Richmond in donated space in schools, churches and community buildings throughout Contra Costa County.
