The Cranberry Marketing Committee (CMC) was established in 1962 as a quasigovernmental organization under the USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service. The CMC’s mission is to ensure a stable, orderly supply of good quality cranberries in domestic and international markets. Working with the United States Department of Agriculture, the CMC develops global marketing and promotional activities, and may recommend volume control regulations when needed and as authorized.
