Grow Native Massachusetts was founded in 2010 and is an organization rooted in community. We are dedicated to the stewardship of our ecosystem and we promote native plant landscapes because of their importance to biodiversity and to creating habitat for birds, butterflies, and wildlife. A 21st century approach to horticulture must embrace an understanding of ecology and our environment, as our human impact on the land is universal and profound.

Our many programs include Evenings with Experts (a free public lecture series), an extensive Workshops Program, a very special annual Native Plant Sale, a new Demonstration Garden, and community outreach programs and other educational events. We offer exceptional free resources to all through our educational website (www.grownativemass.org). Our programs are designed to help both gardeners and professionals learn much more about the essential importance of native plants and best practices for ecological landscaping.
