Baltimore City Coordinator- Girls in the Game

Girls in the Game is one of Lutheran Volunteer Corps (LVC) palcement partners.

Placement position description:

The Baltimore City Coordinator will work directly with girls ranging in age from 8 to 18, and will be responsible for coordinating and leading both After School and Teen Programs.

• Act as the main contact for the After School program at up to 7 sites.

• Coach 4-5 afternoons per week (in-person).

• Coach at 3-4 Teen Club sites, leading girls through a 12-week curriculum.

• Assist the Baltimore City Manager at high schools, managing key events and projects around recruiting, selecting, and training teen club members (curriculum is provided).

• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance our current recruitment and engagement strategy and help develop new communication, outreach, and program content. Engagement platforms include Mailchimp, Eventbrite, Instagram, and other forms of communication.

• Maintain and organize all participant data and information on our Salesforce and SharePoint databases.
