At Minnesota Children’s Museum, we deeply value intergenerational connections, and the unique perspectives and experiences older adults bring. Our senior play guide volunteers play a vital role in enriching the lives of children through play-based learning, and warm interactions. At the same time, seniors gain meaningful engagement, a renewed sense of purpose, and vibrant community connections with both peers and younger generations.
Volunteering at the museum provides a joyful, stimulating environment that supports active lifestyles and strengthens community bonds. Whether helping with hands-on exhibits, greeting visitors, or supporting our educational programs, seniorvolunteers consistently express how much they enjoy being part of our mission.
We would love to speak with you about opportunities to get involved. We are happy to accommodate various schedules and accessibility needs to ensure a comfortable and rewarding experience for all participants.
