Our monthly refuge volunteer event in October will be at Bitter Creek National Wildlife Refuge. We could use all the help we can get to make the refuge a better place. This is the best way to guarantee getting on a condor refuge, that are closed to the public, and possibly seeing some condors.
We do a variety of jobs on work days and can typically find a job that matches your skills and abilities.
We meet at the intersection of Hudson Ranch Road and CA 166 at 8am and then caravan the rest of the way to the refuge. We typically spend the morning on work projects and then stop for lunch and then spend some time after lunch looking for CA condors.
