Volunteer Opportunity: Be a Big Sister to a Fun-Loving Teen in Midcoast Maine

Type: One-on-One Mentorship, Ongoing (4/month)

Opportunity Description:

A teen girl in our program is looking for a young, active female mentor who genuinely wants to spend time with her — someone who is consistent, caring, and ready to show up.

This Little is vibrant, fun-loving, and full of personality. She enjoys:

• Shopping and fashion
• Dancing
• Being outdoors
• Visiting trampoline parks
• Watching movies
• Simply spending time with someone who listens and cares

You’d be a great match if you:

• Identify as female (ages 18–35 preferred)
• Enjoy being active and doing fun things together
• Can commit to meeting once a week (about 4 times per month)
• Are a dependable, compassionate mentor
• Want to make a real difference in a young person’s life

Commitment:

One-on-one mentorship, about 4 times per month. A one-year commitment is preferred to help build a strong, lasting relationship.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mid-Maine provides full training and ongoing support. Our team will be with you every step of the way to ensure a successful and rewarding match.
