Are you looking for a way to make a difference while doing what you love?
KenCrest is looking for volunteers across southeastern PA to join our new friendship program, Day Sharing. Day Sharing connects community volunteers with the people who KenCrest supports based on mutual interests. Volunteers are matched in pairs rooted in their favorite things (sports, music, knitting, movies, etc.). Once a match is made the friends can do activities or chat about what they love.
As a volunteer you will build a mutually beneficial friendship with an adult supported by KenCrest. Friends can meet virtually or in person with covid safe precautions. Meeting times are flexible and work with your schedule.
Examples of activities:
· Stream movies
· Go mini golfing
· Play video games
· Go for walks in the park
· And more!
For more information, please contact the Day Sharing Engagement Coordinator, Olivia Riordan, by emailing Olivia.riordan@kencrest.org or calling/texting 215-290-1519.
