The Seattle Branch Treasurer supports the Branch Chair and activity committees by overseeing the annual budget process, preparing monthly revenue and expenditure reports, attending month Finance Committee and bi-monthly Seattle Branch Council meetings, and processing check requests and reimbursement requests for Seattle Branch volunteers.
This is a two-year term, coincident with The Mountaineers fiscal year (October 1 through September 30), and the position is currently open. The Seattle Branch is actively seeking candidates to assume the current two-year cycle, which began in October 2019. Officers are limited to two consecutive terms.
Each situation and opportunity is different. No previous experience in this kind of role is required.
