Hospice Volunteer

Hospice volunteers provide non-clinical, companionship visits to hospice patients that include friendly conversations, sharing stories, reading to patients, watching TV and movies together, playing cards, writing letters or cards, and listening to music together. Volunteers may also provide supportive care by just being present with a patient and providing respite time for the family/caregiver.
