The Role

We’re looking for a volunteer Assistant of Technology who will play an indispensable role in supporting our organization and students! Not only will you be able to hone your tech and website chops through hands-on experience, but you’ll also create real-world work to beef up your portfolio -- all while making a difference for an important cause. As Director of Technology, you own the marketing mailing lists, construction of email campaigns, and scheduling of email campaigns. You will also maintain and improve the website (intranet and outward facing), domain, the document repository, and the mail server. The best part? The position is remote, and attending status calls in sweatpants is highly encouraged. 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Keep email lists up-to-date using the chapter roster
• Create users within domain as needed
• Help maintain and organize file repository in Google Drive 
• Implement periodical updates to the website: the events page, Board of Directors and Management Team pages, volunteer and mentee recruitment pages, PayPal buttons, other pages as needed
• Maintain and update MMC’s internal website
• Provision access to shared accounts via LastPass as needed
• Provision Basecamp accounts as needed
• Manage MMC’s mailing lists in MailChimp

• President of Minds Matter Chicago

TIME COMMITMENT:

• This position requires a one-year commitment 1-5 hours per week
