Help Build the Future of Human-Centered Health Literacy
Human Health Project (HHP)
About Human Health Project (HHP)
The Human Health Project is a global nonprofit network working to transform how people understand, navigate, and experience healthcare.
We believe that:
- Better health outcomes require more than medical treatment alone
- Patients and families need understandable, culturally relevant guidance
- Peer experience and community wisdom are powerful forms of health support
- Prevention, navigation, education, and human connection should exist alongside clinical care
- Healthcare systems should support the whole person — physically, emotionally, socially, and practically
HHP operates across the United States, Northern Ireland, and Ireland with a growing international volunteer network.
Our Vision
HHP is building a new model called the:
Unified Patient Experience (UPE)

- connect with educational resources and services tailored to their needs
Over time, the UPE will function similarly to a:

Our long-term vision is to help create a world where:
- healthcare information is understandable
