The Front Desk Assistant plays an important role in welcoming and supporting clients and non-clients as they arrive for services. The Front Desk Assistant, working alongside Front Desk Staff, will greet each person, listen to their needs, provide information, answer questions and get them connected to essential services. Good communication, organizational skills, compassion and patience are critical in this busy, client facing role.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome clients in a courteous and respectful manner.
- Listen to client needs and provide information about available services
- Answer client questions and direct them to appropriate staff or resources.
- Provide administrative support such as data entry, answering phones, making copies, accepting deliveries and faxing
- Ensure confidentiality and dignity for all clients.
Requirements:
- Friendly, approachable, and respectful demeanor.
- Comfortable interacting with a diverse population.
- Good communication, computer and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
- Dependability and punctuality during scheduled hours.
- Must be 18+ years of age
Bilingual is a plus but not necessary for this position.
