Volunteers Make a Difference!!
If you have a passion for caring for others and are looking for a way to make a difference in people's lives, consider becoming a hospice volunteer. Our volunteers are an important part of our hospice care team, helping to improve the quality of life for our patients, their families and their caregivers.
We are looking for great volunteers that are willing to assist in various capacities. We have a need through out CT. Training is provided and our volunteers are supported by all members of the patient care team.
Some examples of volunteer needs; offering companionship, playing chess, cards, board games, knitting or scrapbooking, providing support at time of death, Veteran to Veteran visits, making weekly "tuck-in" calls, making bereavement phone calls or visits, administrative support and much more.
No matter what your skills - you have something to offer our hospice patients and their families and we need you!
