Blogging Admin – Volunteer Description – Haiti Now

Role brief: The Copywriter & Copy editor for the Blog is a virtual volunteer position that works directly with the Marketing team, Bloggers to research existing literature, and primarily responsible for new content or improving existing blogs of Haiti Now’s website.

"Your first assignment will be to start a fundraising campaign. Haiti Now will provide further guidance for you to have a quick and successful fundraiser"

Responsibilities and Requirements:

Copywriting or copyediting experience, please provide samples.

Fluent in spoken and written English, able to communicate clearly and consistently

Reliable internet connection a must

Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently with purpose and accuracy in a fast-paced environment

Ability to think creatively

Proficiency in Google Suite Apps such as Drive, Sheets, etc.

Familiarity with or quick adoption of Trello and Slack tools important

Qualifications:

● Minimum 1 yrs work experience as a Copywriter & Copy editor

● Organized and ability to work in a nonprofit set up

● Minimum volunteer hours expected: 5 hrs per week

● Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently with purpose and accuracy in a fast-paced environment

● Proficiency in all areas of Google Suite Apps
