Help provide some comfort by volunteering with our Comfort Cart- PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital

We are looking for energetic and eager volunteers willing to make connections with our patients. The purpose of this role is provide comfort items and help pass the time for our patients in hopes this will enhance their patient experience. Volunteers will round on each of the nursing units with our comfort cart and pass items around to patients. Items include coloring books, activity kits, puzzles, word searches, sudoku, etc and provide comfort items such as pillows, blankets, beanies, scarfs etc. This is a good opportunity to those seeking to get into health care as it helps enhance patient communication and customer service skills. This is also a great opportunity if you have great people skills and want to keep someone company.
