Social Media Specialist

Position Description:

The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for developing, executing and reporting social content through social media.

Responsibilities:

• Increase awareness of SS to targeted audiences and develop our voice on social media platforms
• Develop innovative media content for posting on all designated social media outlets
• Manage, monitor and engage in Social Media/Social Communities with participation in conversations that surround content and brand, answer comments, and mediate
• Review new technologies and keep the organization at the forefront of developments in social media
• Develop social media strategy to acquire new volunteers, donors, increase partnerships and create awareness for the organization's website and cause
• Gather and report metrics providing an overview of the performance of each social platforms
