LeadHER Program Manager

This role is VOLUNTEER to start, 10 hours a week, once the program begins, there

is an hourly rate.

EmpowHERto partners with black and Latina girls and young women from

underserved communities between 14-21, empowering them with the

necessary tools to thrive and effect positive systemic change.

Position Overview:

To excel as a program manager, you need to have exceptional organizational skills,

be attentive to detail, and be comfortable working with diverse teams. If you

possess additional skills in program development and human resources support,

we would love to meet you. The objective will be to ensure the efficient

management of programs in compliance with the organization's standards.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for coordination of participant registration
• Coordination with community partners and schools
• Attendance at weekly workshops/learning sessions
• Responsible for attendance taking at weekly workshops/learning sessions
• Management of participant feedback
• Responsible for communications with participants (testimonials, etc.)
• Working with the events time on the program event

Requirements/ Competencies:

• Proven experience as a program coordinator or relevant position
• Knowledge of program management and development procedures
• Knowledge of budgeting, bookkeeping and reporting
• Tech savvy, proficient in MS Office
• Ability to work with diverse and multi-disciplinary teams
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented and efficient
