Hospice Volunteers are the heartbeat of Medi Hospice. They are kind, caring individuals that donate their time, gifts and abilities to help enhance the quality of life to individuals nearing the end of their life's journey.
What do Hospice Volunteers Do?
Provide companionship, emotional support, musical talents, make blankets/art, bake goods and create cards, plus so much more!
Being a volunteer is a hand's off role that relies on the power of service and having a heart that is willing to be present.
Medi Hospice covers the whole New River Valley area and surrounding areas including Carroll, Grayson, Wytheville so if you are in one of these counties and you would like to volunteer! Feel free to reach out!
Reach out via email or phone call to discuss which route you would like to sign up as a volunteer. We can meet you where you are at, send application via Docusign or mail the applications. We are flexible and want to talk with you!
