Farmstand workshares are key to welcoming customers of Brookwood Community Farm. They commit to working one day a week. As a benefit, workshares receive a CSA share on weeks worked.
Workshares run the farmstand, welcoming members and ensuring everything runs smoothly. They answer questions on crops, and sell any additional items that are available.
Workshares are expected to set up and put away everything at the end, per the instructions of farm staff (Tuesdays/Thursdays 1 pm-7 pm, Saturdays are 8 am-1:30 pm).
Workshares need to be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work under the tent in all weather conditions, and be enthusiastic about making customers feel like part of the Brookwood community!
