Help Your Community!

On behalf of Habitat for Humanity and the entire La Crosse community, we are asking for your help with Neighbors Day 2022!

Neighbors Day 2022 will occur on Saturday, April 23^rd. Neighbors Day is a one-day, community-wide event to help elderly and disabled residents in La Crosse get their yards ready for spring through raking, turning garden beds, washing windows, and trimming shrubs.

Volunteers and partnerships are vital to helping those in need. By volunteering, you will make a difference in the lives of the elderly and disabled residents in the City of La Crosse.

The COVID-19 Pandemic has created a very challenging world for all of our neighbors in the La Crosse Community. Now, with your help, we will get the homes and yards of hundreds of residents ready for SPRING!

Please consider putting a team together for your group.

What: Neighbors Day 2022

When: Saturday, April 23^rd from 8 am to 3 pm

Where: Check-in at Trinity Lutheran Church (1010 Sill St, La Crosse)

Additional note: A light lunch and breakfast will be served. All tools will be provided.

We need your help more than ever!

This year, we will be focusing on the following four main goals that we believe your efforts can help us accomplish:

• Equity. Neighbors Day 2022 will aid those who are marginalized within society and need your help.
• Quality of Life. Improving the lives of those who are closest to us.
• Unifying the La Crosse community to connect with one another and make a difference.
• All of our efforts go towards the clearing of landfills, betterment of our rivers, and establishing an environmentally friendly path for the future.

Through these four objectives and your help, the entire La Crosse community will depend on their neighbors once again! For additional information on how to register, please follow the provided link above.
