RGPRS Data Manager

RG Patient Research Services (PRS) is an initiative of Rare Genomics Institute (RG) that aims to advance research beyond genome sequencing for some of the most challenging rare diseases. Our research model involves in-depth genetic analysis informed by comprehensive and well-defined medical phenotypes for each patient that is carried out by our in house team of PhD-trained volunteer analysts. We are looking for a liaison to help serve as a data manager. Helping rare disease families is an extremely rewarding experience. However, the ability to promptly carry out responsibilities of the job is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage receipt of data from patients and laboratories
• Manage patient data on RG patient database and data portal

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Demonstrated experience in handling patient data
• Experience with handling genomic data and reporting platforms
• Well-organized and detail oriented; willing to take on additional responsibilities and challenges.
• Exceptional communication skills
• Experience or interest in the medical, research and non-profit field
