Public Relations/Event Planning Volunteer Position

Help Chemo Comfort promote upcoming events. In addition to its upcoming raffle, the organization's fourth annual "Confections for Comfort" will be held this June and the fourth annual "Cocktails for Comfort" will take place in October. More information can be found under Events at www.chemocomfort.org. This position involves working with vendors to promote the events in their establishments and through their press offices. We will be reaching out to local online and paper press sources, including some in Long Island and New Jersey, to increase awareness about the event. The ideal candidate will be available to attend Events/PR Committee meetings - currently held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month at 6:30 PM (once a month in person and once by conference call).
