Board of Directors

Justice At Last is a young nonprofit organization whose mission is to see that survivors of human trafficking receive all the legal services they need to support their healing and recovery. We are seeking a members for the Board of Directors. This is a great opportunity to be meaningfully involved in helping survivors of human trafficking and gain some valuable Board experience.

Our Board of Directors is a friendly and dedicated hands-on collaborative group of professionals willing to roll up their sleeves and help guide us as we continue to grow. We have specific needs for members with experience in board governance, strategic planning, advocating for human rights, fund raising, marketing, social media and planning special events.

There is a requirement that the Board of Directors be residents within the San Francisco Bay Area. The Board of Directors meetings occur virtually six times a year, typically the first or second Saturday morning in January, March, May, July, September and November.

We are the only independent nonprofit law firm in the San Francisco Bay Area exclusively serving the legal needs of survivors of human trafficking, regardless of their age, sex, gender identity, abilities and equity needs, nationality or type of trafficking.  Justice At Last provides free legal representation that emphasizes dignity and is survivor-centered, culturally sensitive, trauma informed, and rights- based.
