Project Managers are members of the project management team and are led by the Executive Producer. They collect inputs and utilizing tools and techniques, produce outputs. This is performed throughout the planning, executing, control & monitoring, and closing phases of multiple overlapping projects. This highly visible role requires establishing direct contract with stakeholders in collecting process inputs and directing activity in accordance with process outputs.

What you will do:

  1. Develop Project Plan: add to, modify, and develop new content for a comprehensive project management plan for each project. Content in the project plan defines how work will be done, what will be done, when, and at what cost. It is a project's living document that is modified throughout a project's lifecycle.
  2. Develop Project Baselines: A project baseline documents a project and is used to compare actual work to planned work. In this way, the project can remain within scope, on schedule, and within its budget. The team will develop three for each project as follows:
  3. Work Breakdown Structure (WBS): serves as the project scope baseline. It documents what needs to be accomplished.
  4. Schedule: documents when activities are to begin and end.
  5. Cost: documents what will be purchased and when and provides insight as to how much funding will be needed at any given time.
  6. Execute: once the project plan and baselines are approved, the work outlined in these documents is accomplished. Necessary changes are documented up until completion of the project.
  7. Close: lessons learned are documented so that they may be applied to future projects.
