About Us:

The Peace Economy Project (PEP) is dedicated to promoting peace and economic justice through research, advocacy, and community engagement. We are launching a podcast to further our mission by exploring topics related to peace, social justice, and economic transformation.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a creative and dedicated Volunteer Scriptwriter/Content Developer to join our team. The Scriptwriter/Content Developer will be responsible for creating engaging, informative, and compelling content for our podcast episodes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for writing and storytelling to contribute to a meaningful cause.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Development: Research and develop content for podcast episodes, including themes, topics, and key messages.

• Scriptwriting: Write scripts for podcast episodes, including host intros and outros, interview questions, transitions, and narration.

• Storytelling: Craft compelling narratives that engage listeners and convey the core messages of the Peace Economy Project.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the podcast producer, host(s), and other team members to ensure the content aligns with the overall vision and goals of the podcast.

• Revisions: Revise and edit scripts based on feedback from the podcast team.

• Content Calendar: Help develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely production of podcast episodes.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in scriptwriting, content development, journalism, or a related field.

• Writing Skills: Excellent writing and storytelling skills with a strong command of language and grammar.

• Research Skills: Ability to conduct thorough research on a variety of topics related to peace, social justice, and economic issues.

• Creativity: Ability to develop original and engaging content that resonates with our audience.

• Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

• Passion for the Mission: A strong interest in social justice, peace, and economic issues.
