Church Plant Need Volunteers (will provide training)

Cynthia Garris Ministries is planting a church in the Albany area, and we need some volunteers to help out! We provide training, so even if you don't have any experience, that's alright! We'll get you up to speed.

Areas of need:

Music: want to work with the band and singers? We need some audio folks who can run the sound board for us. We've got all the equipment and the training software, etc, all we need is you! You'll learn how to operate the sound board, mix live vocals and do sound checks and more! Time commitment: weekly rehearsals plus training (online). In June there will be Sunday services in addition to the weekly rehearsals.

Ushers/Labor: if you have a bubbly personality and love to greet people, then this is perfect for you! We need ushers to help congregants to their seats, as well as help with the setup and breakdown of our portable gear. Time commitment: early Sunday mornings weekly.

Camera Operator: we're looking for someone to operate the cameras, set them up, and run operating checks. We will train you how to operate the cameras! Time commitment: Sunday mornings.

Social Media: if you've got a knack for Tiktok, Facebook, Instragram, and YouTube, we'd love to have you join our team! We need vibrant people who can keep up with social media trends for our church, and help our social media grow. As well as work with the camera operators to get some great footage! Time commitment: weekly Sunday services/rehearsals (want you to be present at a few rehearsals a month to capture footage), special events (possibly), weekly postings.

Assistant: we need two people who can handle the pressure of a new ministry and work to help keep things in order. You'll need to be level headed and available often. We will train you on what exactly you'll need to do, but it's not limited to: visiting our storage space, driving our church vehicle, running errands, performing anyone of the duties listed above if someone is absent. Working directly with the campus pastor. Time commitment: weekly Sunday services, but very early mornings, frequently through the week for phone calls or meetings.
