Music (Instrument or Singing) Volunteer

Please Note: our fall volunteer orientation session will be held on Saturday, November 15th from 9a – 5p.

The application process and online training component must be completed to be eligible to register for the in-person orientation.

The gift of music provides an environment for restoration of spirit, calming of anxiety and emotional well-being for patients receiving end of life care and their families. Persons who enjoy singing or playing any instrument (including piano) are greatly appreciated by patients. Vocal and instrumental talents of all levels are enjoyed to consider sharing their love of music with our patients. Schedule is flexible.

Volunteers especially needed in the Fremont, Grandville, Holland, Lakeshore, Ludington, Muskegon and Zeeland area. Note: Volunteers are asked to wait one year after the death of a family member before volunteering

We offer a flexible Volunteer Orientation program!

This training program format will allow candidates to complete some of the required training thru an on-line program at your convenience and provide additional times and locations for the in-person training component. The goal is to shorten the on-boarding process and add more flexibility in the training process making it easier for interested individuals to join our volunteer program.
