Role Summary: As a Respite Volunteer, you will provide temporary relief (respite) to
primary caregivers of individuals on Hospice Care. This role is crucial in
alleviating caregiver stress, allowing caregivers to attend to personal
matters, and ensuring the well-being of the individuals under their care. The individual
should be able to spend up to 4 hours a visit with patient to provide respite.

Training: Respite Volunteers will receive training to familiarize themselves with
the specific needs of the individual they will be assisting.
Time Commitment: The time commitment varies depending on the needs of the caregiver and
the individual. It could range from a few hours a week to several days a month.
