Location: Lanham, MD

Reports To: Anicia Charles, HR Assistant & Warehouse Manager

The Mission: The Disabled Veterans National Foundation is a non-profit organization that strives to provide critically needed support to disabled and at-risk veterans who leave the military wounded, physically or psychologically, after defending our safety and our freedom. We achieve our mission by providing financial assistance to veteran organizations and by supporting veterans through our various programs.

Responsibilities

·        Assemble Health & Comfort kits

·        Inventory hygiene items

·        Break down pallets and clear trash

·        Sort through and organize items

·        Pull requested items for kits

·        Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Volunteers must be able to:

·        Lift up to 50 pounds

·        Work in a warehouse environment

·        Stand for 1-2 hours at a time

·        Have reliable transportation
