Pride Festival: Gate Captain
Gate Captain

Description: Gate Captains are responsible for the smooth operation and management of the festival entry and exit points. They manage and supervise the collection of entrance donations and manning of the gates in their area of responsibility. Gate Captains are considered Festival Staff and manage/adjust volunteers assignments to their gate as needed.
Requirements: This position will require the volunteer to stand for long periods of time and have the math, people, and supervisory skills necessary to manage and support Gate Attendant/Bucket Brigade Volunteers.
Timing: Gate Captains are required to work the entire day of the Festival from 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM. These positions also require training in addition to the general training for all volunteers.
