Home Repair Volunteer

We are recruiting new volunteers for our home repair team! Habitat for Humanity will partner with homeowners to alleviate critical health and safety issues and complete needed home improvement projects. As a volunteer in home repair, you may assist in projects such as roofing, building ramps, flooring, etc. No experience is needed! We will teach you everything you need to know on-site.

Requirements to be a regular home repair volunteer:

• Must commit to 3-4 volunteer shifts per month
• Shifts are available Monday-Thursday (locations vary across the Portland region)
• 7:30am-3pm (No half-day shifts available at this time)
• 6-month commitment minimum
• Complete a background check and new volunteer orientation
• Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19

Home repair locations change throughout the year, but they are located all around the Portland Region.
