Over 97% of the Ph.D. students in the Graduate School receive full-tuition scholarships and stipends that range from $25,000 to $40,000.

The University of Notre Dame Graduate School is home to more than 2,600 students pursuing post-baccalaureate degrees in engineering, humanities, arts, sciences, and social sciences. Over 97% of the Ph.D. students in the Graduate School receive full-tuition scholarships. We also provide multi-year stipends that range from $25,000 to $40,000 for our Doctoral students. 

Our students pursue research in a variety of degree programs renowned for academic excellence. We support their scholarly cultivation through our holistic approach to Graduate Training, which centers on a dual commitment to professional development and student well-being. Through these efforts, we empower students to apply their passions towards being a force for good in the world.
