Lydia Sierra Consulting (LSC) has provided non-profit, community-based organizations with comprehensive fund development services since 2010. Our seasoned team has raised tens of millions of dollars for grassroots organizations founded and run by members of the communities they serve. Our clients work across a variety of program areas, from immigration to youth development, re-entry services, community development, organizing/advocacy, criminal justice reform, affordable housing, environmental/climate justice, community healthcare, and more.
LSC has grown significantly in recent years and, as we scale up, we are looking to hire an experienced and passionate professional who will join our tight-knit team. The Manager of Accounts and Administration will serve as a key point of contact for clients, working closely with and reporting to the Director of Accounts and Administration. The ideal candidate for this position is a seasoned professional with at least five years of experience working with task and data management systems, providing operational support, supervising staff, and coordinating administrative systems and general workflows. They are collaborative, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator, with a good understanding of nonprofit management and fund development. They are responsible for providing oversight in the preparation of grant applications, navigating grant portals, and assisting in the management of approved grants. Because they work closely with clients, high-level executives, and funders, strong customer orientation, superb verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to effectively listen to and professionally correspond with clients and active funders is essential. They also exhibit leadership qualities and a high-level of systems and strategic thinking, as they will be working with the Director of Accounts and Administration to improve organizational processes and maximize operational efficiency. Ultimately, they are responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing personnel, and ensuring that all activities meet quality standards so that the organization’s operations function smoothly. Importantly, they are driven by the impact that their work has in helping our clients serve their communities.
