Digital Election Fellow

Want to dip your toe into progressive politics during a critical election year? Interested in learning more about digital strategy, fundraising, and ads? Obsessively refresh Twitter for breaking news?

Van Ness Creative Strategies is looking for passionate progressives who are college seniors or recent grads to join our team as an Election Fellow.

If you’re interested in pursuing a career in politics and digital strategy, this position is for you!

This role will include:

→ Copywriting for fundraising emails, SMS texts, and digital ads to mobilize the vote

→ Creating digital assets (graphics and gifs) around candidates and movements

→ Fundraising for major PAC clients and candidates

→ HTML coding for email

→ Assisting in strategic content strategy

You should apply if you:

→ Have an interest in digital fundraising, digital ads, or creative strategy

→ Have a thorough understanding of the national political landscape

→ Check the news and Twitter constantly for the latest updates

→ Are passionate about progressive organizations and causes

This fellowship requires at least 24 hours of availability each week, up to 40 hours. This fellowship pays $18 an hour. Our offices are currently hybrid, and we are prioritizing applicants who can work out of our Brooklyn offices two days a week.

Election fellowships will end November 30th, with the possibility of extension into full-time.
