Code Guyana / The Guyana Economic Development Trust

Code Guyana is an initiative of Guyana Economic Development Trust, a fiscally sponsored project of the Social Good Fund, a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

The Guyana Economic Development Trust enables members of the diaspora of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana and others to support initiatives designed to spur economic and workforce development. All investments in The Guyana Economic Development Trust and Code Guyana are 100% tax deductible.

Code Guyana, the inaugural initiative of the Trust, provides training in 21st Century, in-demand technical and professional skills to youth in Guyana. Participants successfully completing Code Guyana programs receive internships, apprenticeships, mentoring and career placements with locally operating companies and agencies, and locally operating international firms associated with the the nascent Information and Communications Technologies (ICT), Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and Oil and Gas sectors of Guyana.
