Grant Administrator, Post-Award - Arts and Science Office of Research

Arts and Science is seeking a talented Grant Administrator, Post-Award to join the Office of Research. The Post-Award Grant Administrator manages post-award administrative aspects of all grants and other sponsored research projects. Provide Principle Investigators with guidance and administrative support. Work with the University central departments including Sponsored Projects Administration and, UDAR to ensure the financial report submissions are accurate, complete, up-to-date, timely, and compliant with the University policies and sponsor's terms and conditions. Oversee and manage multiple department's funding portfolios in addition to monitoring and reconciling expenditures to the University's financial systems. As a member of the Arts and Science Office of Research (ASOR) team, this position will liaise between the department and central university offices, federal, state, local, corporate agencies and private foundations keeping faculty and project directors abreast of both internal and external policies.

Research Administrator (C.R.A.) Certification

Required Experience:
3+ years relevant experience, including two years of progressively responsible post-award research administration experience.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, self-motivation, follow through, confidence, and flexibility required. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Knowledge of the regulatory environment affecting sponsored projects (e.g., Uniform Guidance) including research, technical assistance, professional development, consulting, etc.; the ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with diverse groups of stakeholders including faculty, students, and department, school and university administrators.
