Reporting to the chief financial officer and working closely with partners, the CCM is responsible for preparing and reviewing all client and vendor contracts and related legal documents as well as assisting with other compliance matters and serving as a liaison to the firm’s external council. THE CCM ROLE
In 2021, IM’s revenues exceeded $47 million and its annual contract volume is approximately four hundred to five hundred.
The CCM will work directly with partners to prepare and negotiate the contracts and deliver them to the client or partner for review and signature. The CCM will also handle all in house communication and paperwork required to process the search internally. The CCM will leverage their expertise to assist with other legal matters as needed, including, but not limited to compliance regarding privacy matters such as the Freedom of Information Act, GDPR, CCPA, FCRA, and NDA.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CCM
Upon joining the firm, the CCM will report to the chief financial officer and communicate as needed with the SLCloud team, the finance team on billing, the people and culture team on employment law issues, and the business development team on proposal support. The CCM will play a key role in the negotiation terms of IM contracts and subsequently, be expected to perform the following contract specific and non-contract specific tasks:
· Prepare and/or review contracts, abstracts and addendums
· Negotiate terms with clients
· Assist with the financial aspect of business development proposals
· Negotiate, manage, review and track all master and vendor agreements
· Background check legal matters
· Manage all legal compliance related to search
· Act as liaison between Isaacson, Miller and its external corporate general council
