Summary of Position:
The Associate, IVLP Collaborative Services (CS) supports Meridian's administration of the IVLP CS award, which is carried out in conjunction with the Office of International Visitors in the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State. Under supervision of the Project Director, and in conjunction with the full CS team, this position is responsible for participant support, administrative, logistical, and financial arrangements of award activities. The Associate also supports collection of project impact data and stories.
This position is located in Washington D.C. and Meridian requires MD, DC, or VA residence for all employees. The position may work partially remotely until further notice. Effective January 4, 2022, all Meridian staff are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, unless a reasonable medical or religious accommodation is approved.
**This temporary position is funded for the remainder of the current Collaborative Services Award. The Award's period of performance ends June 30, 2023. Applications will be accepted until May 4, 2022.
Position Responsibilities:
o Support for In-House On Demand IVLP Projects, including the Virtual Global Classroom Initiative
o Support for Language Services capacity building and workshops
o Support for larger IVLP initiatives, including IVLP Impact Award Program and IVLP Media (IVLP Digital Library and Global Moment in Time books and videos)
