The Choice is managing an immediate direct hire search for our client- a national organization that brings together community college leaders. The Board Services Associate is an integral role within the organization, lending dedicated support to their leadership and recruitment search processes.
This role will primarily be on-site in their Washington, DC office four days a week, with one day of telework. Mondays and Tuesdays are required in-person days.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree completed. Master’s degree in relevant field a large plus (nonprofit administration, higher education, etc)
- Passion for open access education and higher education equity
- 1-2 years of administrative and/or project management experience (college experience can be included). Experience working with board members, participating in search committees, or on student council is highly preferred (please make sure this experience is included in your resume when you apply).
Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting with executive searches and other direct services for Search Committees, Governing Boards, and Search Consultants.
- Drafting college-wide communications and other documents to support search consultants.
- Processing applications and maintaining databases for candidate applications, records, logs, and communications.
- Drafting proposals for search services.
- Managing the social media presence and website for searches; updating webpages and social media postings.
- Conducting internet research and confidential reference reports.
- Maintaining detailed project records and an electronic library of sample documents.
- Drafting and organizing materials for national meetings.
- Providing administrative support for complex projects.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Salary: $61,000 - $63,500
