The Accounting Operations department is responsible for all transactional processes of the Institute; which includes Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and general ledger oversight. The department completes the annual audit process, ensures compliance with all financial regulations, and provides financial reporting to internal staff, senior management, Board of Directors, and external parties.
The eCommerce Specialist is responsible for all entries of ecommerce activity; and set up and maintenance of eCommerce related websites. The specialist will work with the IT and Communications department to test and ensure accuracy of public-facing sites. The position will be primarily remote, with occasional days in the DC office headquarters.

The eCommerce Specialist will work closely with the Cash Management Supervisor and other accounting staff. The eCommerce Specialist will need to regularly interact with all staff engaged in eCommerce and credit card activities.
The Institute has implemented a mandatory COVID vaccination policy for all employees who will work at one of our physical locations, attend any of our in-person events or travel on behalf of the Institute. Staff unable to be vaccinated may request an exemption under certain circumstances.
